Four star
Excellent hotel for its price, convenience right down to the door latch. The staff is polite, but the service needs a little work: on the first day they were 15 minutes late for tomorrow, they didn’t know it was until 10.30, they let us in, but with the words “you can take the leftovers”; They asked for the room to be cleaned at 12.00, half an hour later we left, we returned from breakfast, the cleaning was already being done, so we had to first sit and wait, then ask to come later as requested; upon departure, the staff does not say goodbye to guests; The administrator at the spa is a bit of a harsh woman, she doesn’t quite know how to control her emotions; when asked how deep the jacuzzi is, she was indignant at the age of the children 3 times instead of answering, and had to be asked again 3 times. In the end, the children still went swimming. There is no pool. There is a menu sheet in the room, the price for Pepperoni pizza is 2600 tenge, we ordered it to the room, asked to pay immediately, usually it is always counted and deducted upon departure. I had to look for the amount without change, they brought pizza and it turned out the price was 2800 tenge. A small thing, but unpleasant. There is a buffet for breakfast despite the quarantine; we did not eat at the hotel for lunch or dinner, but at catering establishments nearby. There is a small children's playroom on the 1st floor near the restaurant. The cleaning is done well. Near the hotel there is a hyperhouse shopping center, there is little choice and a lot of things are expensive there, there is a zoo and an arboretum nearby, the highest point of the city with the Baidibek bi monument. Taxis must be ordered in advance, because... many taxi drivers in the city receive an order and pick up someone along the way and taxi, so you wait 15 minutes instead of 3.
Do yourself a favor and stay away. Hotel is opened, service lagging. Reception that thinks they are there to control, manager that thinks it is a security guard.
