Ramada Encore by Wyndham Queretaro

My literal only complaint was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Otherwise this hotel is one of the best I've ever experienced. Breakfast is heavenly.

The manager does not speak English. Doesn’t seem she is educated highly enough to work in international hospitality. Every other Mexican hotel I have been to has told me that it is a requirement. Maid service is incompetent. They tried to micro charge us for a pillowcase having semi-permanent hair dye stain on it, when warm water with bleach takes ours right out at home. I have never been charged for a pillowcase at any hotel, so I think that the manager was judging me based on my looks. If you know, you know. We asked for a large taxi for our oversize luggage. They did not listen to my spouse’s fluent Spanish and sent us a clown car. Wait staff and kitchen seem fine. I just think that hiring that manager was a mistake. She obviously and clearly does not like people in the U.S. Better get used to it. This location is going to be more popular, and the Americans will talk.

I had a disappointing experience starting with the poor service at the reception. My room was unclean, with noticeable humidity on the bathroom floors and walls. Additionally, there was a considerable mosquito problem. Overall, the attention and service did not meet expectations.
