Great central city hotel. Close to the bus exchange and restaurants. The room is modern and very clean. Good bed. We were upgraded to a king with window. Friendly service. Great breakfast for a reasonable rate.
Right in the city close to shops and restaurants, service fast to check in and check out. No parking onsite but there is a small paid parking 2 doors down for about 10-12 cars. Rooms are very big modern and spacious and very clean, shower had good water pressure, comfy pillows and bed had the best sleep. Would def stay here again.
This would have been a five star review if it wasn’t for being placed in room 201, which overlooks an office block, car park and half a dozen dumpsters. Now, I’m not precious about the view but being woken at midnight and then again at 415am by dump trucks ruined my sleep and left me exhausted both days. Nothing like the sound of smashing glass to rip you out of a deep sleep. There was no clear reason for me being placed in this room as the hotel was nowhere near full occupancy (I did a couple of walk throughs of the floor) so I have to assume they use these rooms when discounted bookings are received from third party booking sites. The hotelier is well aware of the problem (see the other reviews) which leaves me wondering if they simply don’t care about customer reviews? In all other respects the facility is excellent. Staff were friendly, check in and out was efficient, location couldn’t be better & the rooms are well appointed. But - if you like sleep, either don’t stay here or request a room away from the dumpsters of disruption!
