Ramada Hervey Bay

Had the pleasure of staying there about a week ago. Really great staff right across the board. I want to give a shout out to Adam in reception for his assistance. Great job Adam

Harvey Bay at best is a small country town and the Ramada is one of a few small hotels in it. We stayed late July 2025 and it was clean, comfortable and great service. The location is just near the boat harbour and boat club open every day with a restaurant, it’s maybe 5 minutes walk. The restaurant in the Ramada was still closed from flooding in the wet season but there was plenty of work going on. It’s a nice quiet place and so convenient. I’d certainly stay there again in the apartment we had facing the ocean.

Stayed here for one night and unfortunately the room and hotel facilities did not match the price point. Staff friendly and helpful when a new room was requested due to a very musty odour in first room. I suspect water damage to room and carpets cause of this. Second room was better but only slightly. Rooms generally outdated and unclean. Restaurant shut and elevators either out of service or close to. Had 1 trip with lights off in an elevator, thankfully not stuck. Overall - proceed with caution and consider other options in area.
