Good room and service. Breakfast has variety of options and the menu does change daily. Aircon at reception area isn't that strong but all else is good. The noise isolation could be better as a small gap at the main door of your room means you can hear closing doors or conversations in the walkway. The nearest mall is a 10minute walk

On arrival, the Ramada Dongguan looked beautiful, and the staff seemed friendly. However, when I decided to extend my stay, I was abruptly told only double twin rooms were available—a surprise, given this is a 20+ floor hotel. For a 5-star establishment, I expected better service, but the front desk made it clear I had two choices: downgrade to the twin room or find somewhere else. My manufacturer, who had initially booked me for five days, intervened after I shared my frustration. Only then did the hotel allow me to stay in my current room. Even so, the next day, I was told my room wasn’t extended. After another call to my manufacturer, the hotel finally confirmed I could remain in my room. It took multiple calls from an external contact to secure basic accommodations—something I, as the guest, should not have had to struggle for. The rooms are cleanish, and the cleaning staff are very kind. Front desk staff, however, were unhelpful and very passive, aside from David, who was friendly. For these reasons, I won’t be returning. To make matters worse, I’m being charged for a towel (worth more than its value) that I used to clean up red wine—how else was I supposed to deal with it? -Locked out of my room prior to check-out. -On two occasions I had to request my linens to be changed as it reeked of cigarettes This experience feels more like staying at a 2 star hotel.
