I booked this for my mom to spend a few days in Istanbul alone - it was a last minute decision, but boy were we so happy! My mom ended up getting incredibly ill - she couldn't get out of bed or eat. The hotel staff went above and beyond and upgraded her room to a luxurious suite, checked in on her, and gave me updates (as a worried daughter). They helped her throughout the trip, getting taxis etc. I'm so thankful for these people, keeping my mom safe and sound. Genuinely, I cried hearing all the stuff they did for her - definitely coming back!

This hotel was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. As a solo traveller, I was nervous about travelling to Turkey alone. The staff at reception recommended a tour with the hotel, which was lovely. The manager John was so kind and even extended my late check out last minute. The room was beautiful and very high tech. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel boasts a distinguished name and an excellent location, making it an initially appealing choice for visitors seeking proximity to the city’s vibrant areas. However, the actual stay reveals several significant shortcomings that detract from the overall experience. The rooms are extremely small, feeling cramped and uncomfortable, particularly for those who prefer more spacious accommodations. Additionally, the rooms show clear signs of heavy use, with noticeable neglect in maintenance and cleanliness, which diminishes the quality of the stay. One of the most notable issues is the poor sound insulation in the rooms. Guests can clearly hear conversations and activities from neighboring rooms, as well as the constant sound of doors opening and closing. This lack of soundproofing makes the stay particularly disruptive, especially for those seeking peace and privacy, and negatively impacts sleep and relaxation. Furthermore, personal care amenities are not provided by default in the rooms, requiring guests to request them separately, which is inconvenient and unexpected for a hotel of this caliber. There is also a persistent unpleasant odor in the room that lingers despite ventilation, further detracting from the comfort of the stay. The experience with the reception staff was equally disappointing. The staff member displayed a clear lack of professionalism, responding to guests with mockery, which is entirely unacceptable in the hospitality industry, where respect and warmth are paramount. Overall, despite the prime location and appealing name, the cramped rooms, poor sound insulation, persistent odor, lack of basic amenities, and unprofessional staff behavior make the stay far below expectations. The hotel urgently needs improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, soundproofing, and staff training to provide an experience that meets
