I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The highlight of my stay was definitely the suite – it was spacious and had a large balcony with a privileged view of a beautiful mosque, which made the experience truly special. I also had the chance to try the hotel restaurant for dinner, and the food was very good. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and a great view.
Ramada plaza allows you to experience the worst of hotel experience within its confines. First day the AC automatically switches off at 11 and the room becomes a baked oven. On calling the reception, someone comes after 30 minutes and promises it wont ever happen again. Spoiler alert....it does again the next night and noone comes for repairs and I call again at 2 when I wake up all sweaty and again at 3 and 5 am. Noone comes despite the reception assuring me again and again that someone will. Remeber this is the worst of the summer and almost impossible to sleep in the heat. I have no idea how some of the (paid?) reviews claim to see blue mosque from the balcony when its more than 1 mile away! The breakfast buffet is the like the grand bazaar at the busiest times with no space to walk around. Simple request like refilling the cornflakes bowl takes more than an hour. If you are looking for a free sauna when you want to sleep, rude and indifferent service combined with poor food and dodgy fake reviews, this place ia right up your alley :) oh and I havent even mentioned the rusty and broken down bathroom fixtures. Remember when you get tetanus, what doesnt kill you can only make you stronger!
The front desk guy actually tried to scam me by making me pay an extra 5 euros on top of my booking for no reason. He told me there was some kind of “issue” with my bank that made the amount look higher. They had several card machines, which was already suspicious. When I asked to try a different machine, I paid exactly the correct amount – and I could clearly see the disappointment on his face when his little trick didn’t work. I only stayed one night, and during that time I asked for several services they promised but never delivered. Each time they said, “The technician is coming,” but no one ever showed up. On top of that, they didn’t even let me into my room until 3 pm, even though we agreed on 2 pm. The reception area was crowded with people sleeping around, no air conditioning, and the smell was just terrible – the whole place felt suffocating. Thank God it was just one night. Never again.
