Ramada Resort by Wyndham Golden Beach

I had a fantastic stay at the Ramada Golden Beach! The freshly renovated studio room was beautiful and comfortable. The onsite tennis court and pool were great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved relaxing on our verandah with a stunning ocean view. The location is perfect—there are amazing restaurants and coffee shops just steps away, so you don’t need to leave if you don’t want to. Evening walks along the waterfront were a highlight. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Spent two nights midweek here and had a great time in one of the 3 bed apartment. Small beach across the road was handy for heading out on the quiet waters in hired kayaks from the resort with the kids.

This is far from a 4 star hotel. To pay $300 for a 1 bedroom water view apartment which was tiny, very outdated, and had partial water views partial street views was ridiculous. The hotel needs a renovation. We didn't expect anything fancy but from the floors, walls, and furnitire it was dingy. The shower over the bath with the old fabric shower curtain, mould on the ceiling, crappy outdoor furniture, a couch that you weren't sure was clean to sit on because it was older than a couch you'd have in your own home. We live local and actually left and went home, we didn't want to sleep there. Very disappointed, the photos make it seem like a nice enough place for a casual getaway. The staff were lovely. Location is nice if we had a proper water view as advertised.
