We arrived for 2 nights on Thursday. The representative at the reception was very nice and kind. The rooms we received were very clean and faced the country club. We were treated to a plate of cheeses and spreads in the room (it was very tasty). Access to the pool was very convenient and the children enjoyed the toddlers' pool very much (lots of slides and fountains). The only downside to the toddlers' pool is that the lifeguard or country club staff don't enforce the age restrictions, so older children (6 and up) constantly play with balls and jump without regard for babies or toddlers in the water, and no one intervenes. Regarding the food, it was really, really delicious, and there was everything in abundance. We were on a half-board basis. Dinner included at least 5 different types of meat, a large selection for children, excellent side dishes, and a salad bar loaded with fresh, good food. Because it's a kosher hotel, the Saturday breakfast was disappointing (everything was heated, nothing fresh). Even the coffee machine was closed and couldn't be used. I would expect them to leave an option for those who don't observe Shabbat to enjoy breakfast like any other weekday. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended. The staff is welcoming, the food is very tasty, the location is excellent, and we had a very pleasant experience.

very clean, large pools, there's no fresh fruits in breakfast but you can't satisfy everyone :) If you come on weekends buy all the meals in the hotel cause there's nothing open in Jerusalem on weekends. Enjoy

Our family stayed at Ramat Rachel Hotel from July 20–22, 2025, in Room 114, and it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had. At check-in, I was required to prepay and was refused a receipt, even though I explained it was needed for business. I was told I could only get it at checkout, which is unprofessional and inconvenient. We were given only two small bottles of water for a two-night stay—for a family of four, including a baby. When we asked for more, we were told to buy it. We were directed to use the hotel’s water machine, but the water that came out was brown and undrinkable. Only after insisting and showing the front desk the water was I given two more bottles, which still didn’t solve the issue. The room had multiple cleanliness problems: towels came with hair in them, and the desk was infested with ants, making it unusable. Throughout our stay, the staff were dismissive and unwilling to assist. Requests for basic needs like clean water and fresh towels were met with minimal response. Despite contacting the hotel after our stay by email and WhatsApp, I received no reply. This hotel advertises itself as four stars, but our experience didn’t come close. I cannot recommend it and would urge others to reconsider staying here—especially families with youn children.
