Beautiful boutique hotel with unmatched service. The attention from the staff was incredible and highly appreciated. Kenneth was an excellent host! Pool was warm and clean, breakfasts were copious and delicious, and we loved the dinners too. We enjoyed walking the grounds and looking at the farm animals, and saw howler monkeys and bright red macaws as well! A true delight. Off the beaten path but totally worth it!!

A magical place. Home cooked meals. Incredible views (make sure to request a room that overlooks the Park and river). Kenneth was our go-to guy, as well as the guide for all of their tours. He even rode with us down to the local market for snacks. An amazing place far away from tourists. Well worth every penny, and quite affordable. Highly recommend!

This was one of the strangest places I’ve ever stayed. We booked for 3 nights and left after 2, and the only other guests who were there (spooky) were doing the same. We arrived at the weekend when the whole place was really understaffed and the really friendly young person who was left in charge was nice but had no clue how to run a hotel. Mealtimes were WEIRD. It all felt a bit like Twin Peaks relocated to an old fashioned Western movie. However, the landscape is stunning. Don’t pay the extortionate prices for the organised tours, just head out yourself on the many trails, they don’t seem to mind. And if you’re planning to visit Palo Verde, it’s a 2 hour drive to the park entrance, even though it’s right there, just over the river.
