Place on the outskirts of San Miguel. The hotel is very nice and the service is excellent. My visit was for work, but I had a great time. The breakfast is delicious, although the service is a little slow, but the attention is excellent. The rooms are very spacious and the cost-quality ratio is very good, considering the prices of San Miguel de Allende. It is about 20 minutes from the center. The rooms are spacious, the only bad thing is that the pillows are already very old and the mattresses already need to be changed, they are half deformed and somewhat uncomfortable. If they fix this, the place will definitely be great.

We arrived on saturday, june eighth, to visit a relative living nearby. In booking our room on the website, there was no disclosure our room was part of a larger house located 7 minutes walk from the hotel. As the locals are complaining about the heat this year, the fact our room possessed merely a tiny high- pitched, very squeaky fan did no help in cooling the room… or sleeping noise. The biggest screen was adjacent to front sliding glass door yet had no locking screen so we had to shut door at bedtime-for security purposes— leaving us with ventilation from two medium sized, screened windows and two tiny, screened.windows. We slept on couch, not bed, as the bed was furthest from windows— and stuffy area. The next morning, the coffee packet only contained coffee , possessing no filter…so those early morn coffee hopes dashed ( we awoke at six am, coffee shop opens at 9a). Oh, and the promised wifi had a password that was not correct per my multiple attempts. I went to the office after it opened the next morn, and was offered more coffee packets ( with no filter ) , then directed to coffee shop which had no filters. The front desk, when asked for a correct wifi password , and was provided a second password which we found, upon returning this evening , is incorrect as well. Office closes late afternnon. We asked for an operational fan — of size— and the fan offered was perfect in size yet i was told i would have to leave my Texas drivers license to borrow it. It would sit in an unlocked, front desk drawer. No chance! Given our accumulated experience thus far and the FACT i was billed for entire stay upon arrival, i abruptly turned and left the office. Later in day, my wife left our relative’s house - visit to tell the office to move us to the hotel. She was told we could have the fan without the drivers license requirement and there was a free breakfast for us monday morn. The fan makes a difference — no doubt— and i am leaving at 6:45a in morning so the breakfast offer comes too late. That is our experience at los labrodres hotel.
