This resort is great. We stayed for 4 days, and all of them were epic. On the first day, we went out into the waves and I enjoyed a nice coconut and I was taught how to boogie board. On the second day we also went out to the waves. It is very convenient that it is next to the W, that way we could get to resturants and other accessories. The drive to Puerto Vallarta is only about 45 mins-1 hour, so not that long. Often times there will be traffic though. The house was clean, and we had our own private chef who made AMAZING meals. I think the highlight of that trip was the meals. It wasn't crazy busy, which means that we could relax more. We also had a housekeeper who made sure it was clean. Overall great experience, will come back if I can.

I almost hesitate leaving a review because I don’t want to let the secret out about this place. We rented a 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom penthouse condo which included a chef and housekeeper for the stay - they were incredible. The condo was gorgeous, well appointed especially for families. There is two levels and the stairs outside had a gate which was nice for the little ones. There is a pool in each unit and a larger pool by the beach - on the beach there are chairs and lingers for your use. The best part - none of this is busy. No running down and reserving a chair at 6:00 AM like at the Marriott properties and no paying for a beach chair. They have a beach bar and restaurant and a little market, restaurant and workout facility that’s hidden on the road as you drive in. We didn’t discover the store and workout facility until our last day. The beach itself is gorgeous, all of the locals say it’s the nicest beach in the bay and I’d have to agree. Waves are great for surfing or boogie boarding, nice sand with a few stones here or there for the kids to collect. There are stingrays in the water, we saw a young girl get stung. Ask the lifeguard if they are active or not before you go in the water. We spent six days in the water with no issues. The downside is that you’re a drive from everything, we ended up going into Bucerias versus Punta Mita. It was about the same distance but we found it to be more lively and have more stuff to do and see. Staying in the resort area of Punta Mita will afford you the ability to take a golf cart anywhere you’d like which would have been cool. But we paid about the same for this five bedroom ocean front condo as you’d pay for a single garden view room at the Four Seasons or St. Regis so this was a no brainer.

We loved this spot. Ideal location if you don't mind being a bit secluded. You are 20 minutes from Punta Mita and about 40 minutes from PV. The unit we stayed in was beachfront but on the 3rd floor. super convenient to the pool and beach. There is a small bar hidden on the north end of the beach - we didn't know it was here until day three. Our rental included a housekeeper each day who also cooked breakfast. The W is next door and has a restaurant. The food and service there were excellent but the price tag was double of what it should be. Take a trip into Punta Mita and dine there. Good options and far less expensive. La Pescadora was amazing. If you want groceries there is a large grocery store called Soriana on the way in from PV and shortly after that there is a Walmart. I would shy away from letting the concierge stock your groceries as it will be very hit or miss on what you receive - far cheaper and easier to grab them on the way in. We had a couple of chefs cook for us two nights of the trip and they were wonderful and reasonably affordable. Bring pesos with you. Everyone prefers them here and we had trouble finding any place to exchange dollars for pesos. The tide comes all the way in at high tide and the beach gets a little rocky in areas as the tide moves them around but it's still a lovely beach. The beach is pretty private but you still have to deal with a handful of vendors hawking their wares, but they were all harmless.
