A wonderful place, I miss it already even though it's only been a few days since I left. Nothing bothered me, not even a hotel for the undemanding. However, it had everything I needed - a comfortable bed, clean bedding, always hot water, a fridge, etc. My room was on the first floor. If I had to suggest anything, it would be to install a mosquito net on the balcony door. My lunch is a daily work of art in both taste and image, phenomenal salad dressings (I regretted that I didn't have the time to drink them from the gravy boat). I would like to thank the chef, the restaurant manager and its staff. I was always served and felt like a princess. And another topic - people, staff. I have traveled half the world and I know what I am writing about - Sri Lanka has wonderful citizens, and the Ranna212 Hotel has fantastic staff. PS The only downside, independent of the hotel, is the overwhelming number of tourists from Russia and Ukraine. This does not bode well ...

Pleasantly peaceful and free hotel located right by the ocean. Friendly staff, rooms cleaned every day, always smiling staff. I would especially like to mention the staff working at the hotel reception, who always solved any questions that arose. I recommend the hotel to everyone who wants a peaceful, comfortable and quiet hotel. Cons - the restaurant's food selection could be diversified. There was also a lack of really good coffee. There were few sun loungers on the beach.

My stay at Ranna 212 was absolutely wonderful. The hotel has a great atmosphere, with a beautifully maintained territory, a relaxing swimming pool, and a stunning beach area. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained with daily housekeeping ensuring everything stayed fresh. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of options for both breakfast and dinner. Even as a vegetarian, I always found delicious choices, including authentic Sri Lankan dishes from the local cuisine corner. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests and ensuring a comfortable stay. Their hospitality truly added to the experience. The location is perfect for those who enjoy calm, quiet vacations away from crowds. Nestled in a peaceful village, the beach is almost empty, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and unwinding. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and comfortable getaway!
