The Level of Service received by Tamara was above expectations. Loved the room and View. The attention to detail was impeccable and added so much value. Truly a Wonderful Stay... Ali at the Rooftop Swimming pool was extremely helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay nothing short of extraordinary.
I visited the rooftop of the hotel and honestly, it has one of the best views in Beirut! The place is super cozy, nicely decorated, and not too crowded which makes it perfect to unwind. There are so many cute spots to sit and enjoy the view. We ordered the tiramisu—it didn’t taste exactly like a classic tiramisu, but it was still very delicious. What made the whole experience even better was the airplanes flying right above us—it added such a cool, unique vibe to the night. Definitely a spot worth checking out!
Disappointing Experience – Not Up to 5-Star Standards I recently stayed at Raouché Arjaan by Rotana, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations one would have for a 5-star hotel. Starting with the room: we were given one with a very small window, poor lighting, and an unpleasant view overlooking a back street. The atmosphere was far from comfortable or welcoming. Breakfast was also underwhelming — the variety was extremely limited, and a few items were not even edible, which was disappointing. However, the most unacceptable part of our stay was the treatment we received at the rooftop pool area. We simply wanted to enjoy a coffee there but were told to leave because we were wearing slippers. If there is a dress code for the rooftop or pool area, it should be clearly communicated in advance. What made the situation worse was the unprofessional attitude of the staff. On our way out, they laughed at us, which was completely inappropriate and felt discriminatory. As part of a reputable international hotel chain, I believe it’s crucial to ensure all staff are properly trained to treat guests with respect and fairness. Discrimination and poor service should never be tolerated in hospitality. I’m sorry to share such negative feedback, but I believe it’s important for future guests to be aware of these issues. I truly hope the hotel management takes this seriously and works on improving the service, facilities, and staff professionalism.
