We stayed as a family of 6 for 4 nights In a 3 bedroom gold caravan with decking. Staff were friendly on arrival and throughout our stay at the caravan. The caravan was easy to find with the map that the staff provided us with, it is only a small caravan park compared to others we have stayed at but we found this better as the furthest you have to walk from one end to the other is only around 10 minutes. We were going to purchase the additional Internet for the caravan only for the children in the evenings but we're told that due to our caravan being situated in the new end of the caravan park the Internet can be hit and miss. We had already read the reviews and knew that this might be and issue. But, because we were already aware about this, is wasn't really a problem and we were more happy that the staff were open and honest about this than just letting us purchase it and being disappointed. The caravan was clean, lots of utensils and we were provided with a sponge, cloth and washing up liquid for our stay which was a nice little gesture. The beds were comfy and we had alot of storage space. The pub we only ordered drinks, slightly overpriced but you expect that. The staff were lovely and when our daughter fell over they came over with the first aid without being asked (even though she didn't really hurt herself apart from a graze) they made her feel happy which we thought was very nice and kind of them. The pool was small but nice. Very warm and booking is made in the reception. Never had a problem booking so children were happy to go for a swim to break up the rest day. All in all a very nice well kept clean holiday park, amazing staff and scenic views would book again.
Recently had a 3 night stay in a Gold plus Caravan. Caravan was modern and clean, and in a nice location with good views. Only negative about the caravan was that the beds are not comfortable. The park itself is very quiet which suited us but if you are wanting a busy site with entertainment then this site isn't for you. We tried the pub once at around 4pm and even though they weren't serving food until 5, there was still dirty tables with leftover breakfast on them. Overall had a really pleasant weekend and for the price we paid I would definitely stay here again.
Please note the lack of stars is only for the food not the site itself..This caravan park is beautiful and clean with amazing views. My only problem with it was the food at the onsite restaurant. It's absolutely terrible. For what we received its totally over-priced. The 100% ultimate cheeseburger came with no cheese and no coleslaw as advertised in the menu. It was basically some chips thrown on a plate with a burger in a bun. The place is beautiful but you need to get rid of the chef as he let's this site down. We did mention it to the staff but they never came back with an answer. I would come back to the site but I would go to the restaurant down the road called The Plough. Don't waste your money..
