I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ravel Hotel in New York, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the seamless blend of modern luxury and thoughtful design throughout the space. The views of the Manhattan skyline are absolutely breathtaking—especially from the rooftop, which is one of the most stunning spots I’ve experienced in the city. Every detail, from the decor to the lighting, feels carefully curated to create an elevated yet inviting atmosphere. The staff was warm, professional, and attentive, making the entire stay smooth and enjoyable. Whether you’re visiting for business, a getaway, or a special occasion, Ravel delivers an unforgettable experience. As someone with a deep passion for visual storytelling and photography, I found endless inspiration throughout the property. I would absolutely love the opportunity to collaborate creatively with the Ravel team in the future—this space deserves to be captured and shared.
Arrived and first room had a minor weather related problem, nothing on the hotels side that could have been avoided. I mention this because the gratitude I had in the amazing customer service they provided was quick and heartfelt which is hard to find in the hotel world oftentimes. Everything from front desk to management displayed professionalism and care to the customer. Highly recommend and highly suggest upgrading to the larger rooms as they truly leave you in awe. As someone working in public relations, trust me you definitely want to enjoy a stay here.
Overall a fairly good experience. They have cool interior. The room looked great inside. There are some small things that could be improved if management wants to. Hence 4/5. Other positive things: - The room is quite spacious! I was surprised how big it is (esp for NYC)! Really not bad. Massive shower cabin 😀 - Staff was friendly - Gym: Quite decent. See attached picture. They have a set of dumbbells, which is the main equipment I use, so for me it was all good. (Small point: There sadly was no water machine in the gym) Negative stuff: - WiFi breaks off all the time when going to the bathroom. It was mostly fine when in the bedroom, but in the bathroom it became literally unusuable. Also in the gym the WiFi didn’t work. Having good WiFi seems kinda basic - Another frustrating thing: The light in the bedroom. First, there is not ceiling light (just why?). Second, I couldn’t open the curtains either because the windows go right do the pavement and otherwise my room becomes fully visible to everyone walking by, not always ideal. It felt quite frustrating being in a very dark room during the day - If you’re easily annoyed by loud noises, be a bit careful. The doors they use don’t have good noise protection. Luckily, with the setup of the room, there are two doors covering against the noise coming from the corridor; having 2 doors deffo help. But there was also quite some noise coming from the street. In the end noise wasn’t too much of an issue for me. But I know other people for whom noise is a much bigger issue, so just keep that in mind - No proper charging spots next to the bed Other points: - I’d consider this a good location cause it’s close to central NYC. Takes about 15 mins walking to the next metro station. The direct neighbourhood and the streets right outside the hotel aren’t overly nice Overall these points aren’t meant to sound too negative, I had a pretty good time
