This beautiful, secluded resort in Port Severn is an ideal spot for a weekend getaway. The rooms are generous and luxurious. The staff are friendly and helpful with all your needs. The spa staff is fantastic and will make your stay so relaxing you never want to leave. And the food at the restaurant is divine. Every item we tried had a unique concept of infused flavours that just got you wanting more. Definitely made our weekend memorable and relaxing!
We had such a great weekend at this lake resort! The room was like a two-story townhouse, super spacious, very clean, and felt brand new. They brought us a rollaway bed at no extra charge. The shower and amenities were excellent, and the view from the porch and the balcony right on the lake, was absolutely stunning and so peaceful. Breakfast at the Lighthouse Restaurant was a highlight. Amazing food and beautiful views from the lighthouse itself. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. We really felt taken care of from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back.
Our stay started not great as we entered our terraced room it smelled of wet dog. I went to ask the reception if there had been pets in before and there had been. We were offered a different room but they couldn’t offer 2 which is what we had reserved. I then also found some dog hair under the coffee table which hadn’t been hoovered. For the rest the room was nice enough with the usual amenities. The fine dining was very good food and so was the breakfast. The service was also excellent, especially Ruth! Unfortunately in the morning we would also wake up with a sewage smell and cigarettes I’m not sure if people were smoking directly behind the building. Lastly on the last day the fire alarm went off at just before 7 am and then did so another 5-6 times until about 9 am. I was a bit surprised maintenance didn’t just turned up and I had to go notify the receptionist. We also had 2 aroma therapy massages which were both really good. We worried they wouldn’t be tissue enough but that wasn’t an issue at all. The area around is quite limited in activities.
