Raymond Blue Hotel

Although the rooms aren’t very spacious, our stay was excellent. The entire staff was kind and helpful, especially Mr. Abdullah. The location is great — close to all the main attractions and just steps away from the tramway. The breakfast was good, and everything was very clean. Housekeeping came daily and didn’t touch any of our belongings — they were trustworthy.

The hotel's location is excellent, just steps from the train station. Close to Gülhane Park. Great location. The breakfast was very poor. Not many options, and the food was placed on very low tables; food should be placed higher up. The coffee machine was horrible. It tasted bad. The rooms were very small. There were no hangers to hang clothes, so I had to hang them on the bathroom door and spread them around the room. There wasn't a large, floor-length mirror. (Women like large mirrors to check their entire outfit.) There was a mirror behind a small table, so you couldn't see anything clearly. The room was very dark. The room was on the 5th floor and backed onto another building, which was horrible. The window had to be kept closed at all times. And smells from the kitchen wafted into the room. The refrigerator didn't work and was full of things. It didn't even fit my things properly. And it didn't cool anything. The bathroom was horrible; everything got wet, and there was a leak under the sink that made the bathroom even wetter. The towels weren't very white. The guy who showed us to our room was friendly. I don't remember his name. The rooftop is very beautiful. We had dinner one night at Luco restaurant, and Ibrahim was very helpful. He was super friendly and helpful. The food wasn't the best I had in Istanbul. I ordered a piña colada, and it really wasn't a piña colada 😅, my food tast was like sour, and do not know if is that tast or not, just in case I did not finish my food but Ibrahim's service was worth it. A+ for him! I stayed at this hotel because of its location. Very close to everything. Other than that, it's not worth it.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The rooms are very small and completely unsuitable for families, especially with a child. The room was full of insects, and the air conditioning was either very weak or not working at all, making the stay unbearable. The service was absolutely terrible. I asked for help multiple times to fix the issues, but there was no response or effort from the staff. Their behavior was unprofessional and careless. This hotel is not suitable for families or anyone looking for even basic comfort and cleanliness. I do not recommend it under any circumstances. I sincerely hope the management takes serious steps to improve their service.
