Raymond Hotel Old City

Although the rooms aren’t very spacious, our stay was excellent. The entire staff was kind and helpful, especially Mr. Abdullah. The location is great — close to all the main attractions and just steps away from the tramway. The breakfast was good, and everything was very clean. Housekeeping came daily and didn’t touch any of our belongings — they were trustworthy.

There are no toothbrushes, toiletries, or body lotion in the rooms—none of the items that should be in a 4-star hotel. The breakfast on the first floor (not on the terrace) is very meager. On the plus side, the location is good. The rooms are old and falling apart. They are also very small. The photos on the website are misleading.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The rooms are very small and completely unsuitable for families, especially with a child. The room was full of insects, and the air conditioning was either very weak or not working at all, making the stay unbearable. The service was absolutely terrible. I asked for help multiple times to fix the issues, but there was no response or effort from the staff. Their behavior was unprofessional and careless. This hotel is not suitable for families or anyone looking for even basic comfort and cleanliness. I do not recommend it under any circumstances. I sincerely hope the management takes serious steps to improve their service.
