The hotel is very centrally located, which is a big plus, and the private parking is really convenient. Breakfast is okay, though there isn’t much variety. The internet was quite poor – very slow and not reliable. It’s also a bit annoying that cappuccino isn’t included with breakfast and costs 85 pesos. You can easily get one in town for half the price. Overall, it’s a decent hotel, but it could really use an upgrade.

5 stars. Really! Hardly service with a smile. If you want black tea at breakfast rather than the lemon tea provided it was extra. The rooms were shabby and not particularly clean. Headboard worn (see pics).

No, thank you. I booked the Junior suite king last month. During our stay the air conditioner broke. I reached out the front desk and they sent two people to try to fix it. My wife and I waited till 12:30 at night for them to finally come to the conclusion it wouldn’t be fixed. The room was super hot and humid. I asked the front desk person what could be done in these situations. He asked his manager and the manager gleefully offered us Two. Boxed. Lunches. I pressed more and eventually they offered 1/3 of the price of the room which was ridiculous considering it was their premium option at a premium rate. Air conditioning is pretty crucial in the Yucatán. Overall, I would say I wouldn’t ever choose this hotel ever again. We were trying to have a special moment and instead had our privacy overran for 4 hours. The room was very hot the rest of the night. And all they would initially offer is a boxed lunch…grossly offensive. Edit: I guess they’re okay with lying. The only reason why we chose this room was because it was the only vacant room. No other room was available. Only 1/3 of the reservation was offered.
