Recanto Cataratas Thermas Resort e Convention

Great resort hotel, with modern and clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed our stsy.

Beautiful complex. Swimming pools are numerous and additional hot tub and pool on downstairs level. Buffets for dinner and breakfast were large with many selections. Rooms were spacious. No view because we looked into another building. Location seemed isolated. Nothing to walk to but we were on a tour so the location worked

We really enjoyed our stay at Recanto Cataratas Thermas Resort & Convention. The dining hall offers a buffet for about 27 USD, if I'm not mistaken. For vegetarians, there is unfortunately a limited selection, but a staff member (or perhaps the manager) of the restaurant was very attentive and made sure we were satisfied. He arranged a very tasty vegetarian burger for us at no extra cost, which was really great! The breakfast was also very good, but it might be worth considering installing sound dampeners on the ceiling, as the breakfast hall can get quite noisy when it is full. The pool was unfortunately dirty, and there was an unpleasant smell at the pool bar. The staff at the pool bar seemed a bit overwhelmed, and it took a while to get our cocktails. The whirlpool in the middle of the pool was empty and dirty as well. In our room, the bathtub was also not clean. These are areas where the hotel could definitely improve.
