Deeply Disappointed by the Lack of Compassion at Rosengarten Hotel! My husband and I booked a non-refundable room at Rosengarten Hotel, looking forward to our stay. Unfortunately, shortly before check-in, I suffered a severe ankle sprain and had to be taken to the hospital. While in the emergency room, we asked a nurse to call the hotel to explain the situation and inform them we’d be arriving late. The hotel's response? They simply stated that no one would be at reception at that hour and offered no assistance or alternatives. When we were finally discharged, it was late at night and we were left with nowhere to go. We ended up sleeping in our car. We understand non-refundable policies—this wasn’t a cancellation or change of plans. It was an unforeseen medical emergency. A few days later, we reached out to the hotel to explain again and kindly requested even a partial refund under the circumstances. Our request was denied without any sign of understanding or empathy. It’s incredibly disappointing that the hotel chose to rigidly stick to policy over showing basic human compassion. I would strongly urge others to consider this before booking. We certainly will never return!!!

Unyielding and inhumane during war — I will never book here again When the war broke out in Israel and our skies were closed, all international airlines suspended flights, including my own (Ryanair). I reached out to Hotel Rosengarten with documents showing that travel was objectively impossible. The response? Cold, automatic, and devoid of any compassion. Even after quoting Italian and European consumer law, even after explaining the emergency, I was told that my situation was “not their problem.” No flexibility. No empathy. Not even a formal letter for Booking.com. Just silence. It is beyond disappointing to see a hotel in Europe respond this way to a guest whose country is under missile attacks. Whether it's indifference or something worse, I’ll leave that for others to judge. But I know that true hospitality is measured not in luxury, but in humanity. Avoid — unless your plans are 100% certain and your humanity doesn’t depend on theirs.

-🚫No wifi and phone/internet connection at this place during 5 days stay. Hotel did nothing about it! -Owner and staff (especially this waitress Monika) has no professionalism. Not welcoming at all.. -Okay breakfast but dinner menu is VERY limited and not clear what they can offer to their customers. Menu doesn't say prices and also not worth the money. -Outdoor jacuzzi is always closed. -Fake reviews were written by own staffs and family. Why doing that?? Truth hurts. -Stop unethical practices and treat all customers with proper respect, dignity, and professionalism. That's the only way to improve reputation of this hotel.
