This hotel is a gem. Well located relative to the bus station, beach, supermarket and restaurants. We arrived during a deluge of rain and got soaked. They upgraded us to a larger room which helped to dry our clothes. Room was large and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
We loved our stay here and it was the perfect place to relax for a couple of days after lots of hiking. The garden around the hotel is stunning and our room had its own pond, little courtyard and balcony which was awesome. Our favourite place to stay from our recent Taiwan trip.
Caution: there is no bathroom door! You can see, smell, and hear your partner when they do their business. When you sleep, you get the uncomfortable feeling that you’re sleeping in an extended bathroom. I made the mistake of booking without doing thorough research. Honestly, I couldn’t fathom a “4-star resort” not having a bathroom door. It seems the experience is very room dependent. So if you book this hotel, make sure you choose a large room on the higher floor. My 3-star rating is for their good service, beautiful grounds and decent breakfasts.
