Red Lion Inn Partney

Stayed here for a 3 night break, could not fault it, the accommodation, food and hospitality were amazing. We stayed in No4 which opened onto the garden, the room was spacious, impeccably decorated and immaculate. We stayed during a heat wave so I worried about being in a hot room over night, but needn’t have, as the room had a large freestanding fan which kept us so comfortable. The bathroom was large, with modern fittings all immaculate. The food was well cooked and presented, and sitting in the garden in the evening as the sun set with a drink was so relaxing.

Went to The Red Lion Inn at Partney for a meal tonight and we had the most delightful time. The owner Christine is truly lovely and made us feel very welcome. The setting inside and out is very well presented and was a relaxing space to enjoy our meal. The meal was outstanding! We both had steak and chips with peppercorn sauce and it was one of the best steaks we've had. It was absolutely delicious and the chef was lovely too.

This accommodation was a fabulous find. We stayed in garden room 4 which exceeded our expectations. The bedroom and bathroom were large and extremely well furnished. Everything was of a very good standard. Christine the owner kept the rooms immaculate, the entire establishment including the garden area, was beautiful. Jane who prepares the food, was most obliging and friendly and she always served the food piping hot. Nothing was too much trouble for Christine, who was a great host. We can highly recommend this establishment, it is in a quiet area, with easy access to other places of interest in the surrounding area. A great base if you are visiting 'Just Jane' attractions at the Aviation Museum.
