Redcastle Hotel Golf & Spa

We recently stayed here for 2 nights and were delighted with how we were treated. Our room was excellent, the staff were young, but fantastic, checking in was efficient and very friendly and the location is brilliant. We had dinner here for 2 nights and the food again, was perfect. We also used the spa area and had treatments, mine was with Katie who did a wonderful job. We would definitely stay here again, especially if we get the same room.

Went for my friends Wedding and everything was amazing. The staff were excellent and extremely attentive. The wedding went as smooth as could be and the view was also stunning. The food was top notch and portions were generous.

Hard review to write as individual staff were lovely, but overall it was a very disappointing stay. Service at the bar was good, friendly, helpful. Dinner was grand. The room was really poorly sound insulated and we could hear everything from the room above, which led to a very disturbed night with little sleep (I'm not a light sleeper). When we mentioned at reception they said you should've called the night porter, we didn't know there was one but also they weren't being overly unreasonable, just using their room. The bed was comfortable. Room very clean. Breakfast was very average, self service buffet style with very standard fare of middling quality. Again helpful staff. Nice view. Spa was beyond disappointing... Expensive treatments, but you pay for quality and you expect them to be excellent but whilst staff again were helpful and friendly the treatments were messed up and I didn't get what I booked and i didn't find out till too late... Whole reason we were there, ruined the whole thing. Staff were very apologetic but at the same time seemed scared to admit things were not right/had gone wrong, scared of their management. Not four star. I wouldn't return despite the beautiful location.
