Redearth Hotel

Great location, friendly staff and a comfy bed. Best part was a big balcony looking at the pretty lights from the mine amazing how night can make the copper mine look so beautiful!

I called to get location of the reception and staff have me very poor advice. It took me 20minutes to find reception. Receptionist was at best vague and lacked information. It took me nearly 2 mins to get to my room. Room has no window just a poster stuck to the wall with curtains each side to make it look like a window. Room had a sky light which woke me up early because it was directly above the bed. Everything else was good but having a disrupted sleep because of the skylight really put a downer on it.

Stayed here a number of times over the years, and the first few stays were excellent, rooms were in excellent condition and clean. However January 2025 the rooms standards have taken a drastic turn for the worse. Broken shower heads, broken room drapes, the luggage carrier was broken and lamp shades in the room were busted. Pub / Bar and Grill is great for meal though, enjoyed the meals a lot. Unfortunately for over $300 a night and with the state of the rooms, we won’t be staying here again until the standards are lifted in regards to their room maintenance. Such a shame, it used to be a beautiful hotel to stay at.
