Reen Resorts Anavilasam Plantation resort

We stayed at Reen Resorts for two nights, split between the deluxe cottage and the pool villa, and it was an exceptional experience. The resort offers tranquility, privacy, and peace of mind — perfect for a relaxing getaway. Even the base category rooms are impressive, easily matching the quality of high-end suites elsewhere. Spacious sitting areas, private balconies, and large bath areas with open-air showers add to the charm. The food menu may not be vast, but the quality is consistently good. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. A special shoutout to Akhila at the front office and Arun at the restaurant — their hospitality made a great impression. The only minor downside is that the pools (both private and common) aren’t heated yet, though I was told this is in the works. Kudos to the owners for not only ensuring a comfortable stay for guests but also for thoughtfully preserving the trees, birds, and natural beauty of the plantation setting. It’s a rare balance, and they’ve done it wonderfully. A high five-star experience — highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful, nature-embraced escape. Vivek Cochin

We had an amazing time here. The rooms were quiet big and comfortable. The service was top notch. They are always available and ensured that we are taken care well. Special mention to Mr.Nasir for his excellent hospitality. Would like to thank the restaurant in-charge Mr.Arun and Chef Mr.Dileep for the yummy tasty food and for accepting the adhoc requests too. I strongly recommend this place. The cleanliness of the resort too deserves a special mention! On the day of departure, they provide car wash as complimentary, which is a very good gesture. Our group of eight, including my family and a friend’s family, stayed at Reen for two nights in the pool villas. The resort is beautifully designed, with spacious, well-equipped, and tastefully decorated rooms. Our private pools were a great feature, though we couldn’t use them as often as we’d hoped since the water was quite cold, even in summer. Additionally, the pools attracted leaves and insects, requiring frequent cleaning. The common pool, however, was well-maintained, and our kids enjoyed it more than the private ones. With very few other guests, we felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The gym was decently equipped. The only downside was the food. We found it to be mediocre and overpriced. The management should focus on improving this aspect to enhance the overall guest experience. Dining options outside the resort are quite limited, with the nearest decent restaurant being at least 10 km away. Despite this, we had a great time at the property and appreciated the friendly staff. If the food quality improves, it would make for a truly outstanding stay.
