An absolutely wonderful apartment! We were so impressed with the little details, including books, dvds, games for our enjoyment. Our outside patio area was so relaxing, with many comfortable areas to relax and enjoy the breathtaking view. So many whales were passing by (July)!! We enjoyed the facilities including the pool, gym and sauna. Will definitely be back again! Thank you!

very impressed with the unit and the view. The unit needs a very good clean, bedroom side draws had to be cleaned before we put cloths in them. Dust on the internal doors. Great unit but needs some love.

We've been loyal guests of the Reflections properties in Coolangatta almost every year since they were first built, almost 20 years ago, booking both directly and through private platforms. Up until recently, we’ve always enjoyed our stays and found the accommodation and properties to be well-maintained and comfortable. Unfortunately, our most recent stay at Reflections on the Sea was a significant letdown. When we visited in February last year, we noticed the property was starting to look tired, but we gave it the benefit of the doubt and decided to return this week. Sadly, it’s only deteriorated further since then. The unit we stayed in was in very poor condition. It was filthy — thick dust, mould on the blinds and ceiling, and a strong musty, mouldy smell throughout the space. The furniture was putrid and dirty, far below the standard you'd expect from a premium property charging these rates. The general cleanliness was severely lacking, with cupboards that clearly hadn’t been wiped down in some time, and glass shower screens that were stained from neglect, not wear. While we understand the apartments are individually owned and strata-titled, they are still managed under the Reflections brand — and with that comes a responsibility to maintain a minimum standard, particularly regarding cleanliness, hygiene, and general upkeep. We checked in after hours and didn’t raise the issues with management, but with only a short stay, we didn’t feel it was worth the hassle — especially knowing that other apartments are in a similar condition. Given the amount of newer accommodation now available in the Coolangatta and Kirra area, we’ll definitely be looking elsewhere next time.
