Regal Hongkong Hotel

5 Stars – Wonderful Stay! We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help, making us feel truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra comfortable. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, and the facilities, including the pool and gym, were well-kept. What stood out most was the excellent service and attention to detail — it’s clear the team takes pride in ensuring guests have a great experience. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

The room is a bit old and has a dusty smell, but they do provide an air purifier to help with the air quality. Unfortunately, the bathtub and toilet bowl weren’t very clean, with visible yellow stains. On the plus side, the location is quite good, it’s close to Causeway Bay. However, the nearest MTR station doesn’t have a lift or escalator, so if you have large or heavy luggage, you may need to look for an alternative exit with a lift.

Service is a big nono. Have an upcoming long term stay at this hotel. So far I’m very disappointed at their service. Emailed them couple times, but they never reply. Worst hotel customer service I’ve ever experienced. So I’m not sure how it’s 5 stars. Finally got to the hotel. Service was way below a 5 stars hotel. No one helped us with the luggages, so my husband grabbed the hotel trolly himself and start offloading. Check in line was long. I was carrying a baby and stood there for like 30mins, most horribly thing was check in was supposed to be at 3pm but the room wasn’t ready for us at all. Told us to wait till 4pm at the lobby. Not a fan of this hotel at all. It’s very old and the rooms are very outdated. Everything is like falling apart(wall tearing, cant close bathroom door cause it’s not aligned, door knobs breaking off, lots of molds in the bathroom). They need a big renovation. Moreover, the air con is damn bad. We turned the air con down to 16degrees but the room stays at 23.7. So it’s very hot here. Both my kids sweat like crazy! Also, don’t let the hotel room pictures trick you. They don’t have enough lightings in the rooms so it’s very dark at night. Location is just 3 stars. It is part of causeway bay but it’s a little far from the core. But it’s understandable since the core is mainly for shopping. You have to tip the staff if you want them to help you… worse then Cuba, DR, Mexico…etc P.S this hotel is not child-friendly. They only have cribs, unlike other hotels where they can provide baby tub, bed rails…etc.
