Regal Palace Hotel

This is the nicest hotel in Dongguan. The staff have limited English but they have more than one western concierge on staff to help you. If you are an English speaking traveler ask to speak to Garry. He is friendly and will be able to offer you some additional advice about the local area. There are multiple restaurants in the hotel for western, Japanese, and Chinese food. The breakfast is very good especially the noodle bowls.

Location is four stars just if you are coming to the Modern International Guangdong Expo center, right in the other side of the avenue. There is a pedestrian pathway that is really convenient; one can reach the expo hall either not walking by the sidewalk nor facing rain or a sunny day heat. Rooms are wide, old and nice furniture, a lot of space for clothes and luggage. Bathroom is big enough and clean, with all the amenities one can need. Regarding the service, cleaners work well in the room and the reception desk team try their best. The manager is out of the curve, always around to help us.

Huge hotel with about 570 rooms spread across 3 towers, one of which is over 50 floors. The rooms are a bit drab and dated. It is right opposite Dongguan international exhibition centre and is connected by elevator bridge. Breakfast is 80rmb but we got a simple breakfast on a side street to the right where there’s a few convenience stores.
