Honestly the best customer service! I had an issue with getting the local SIM connectivity. The staff here helped us truly, from setting my phone connection to giving us the best room with a view and helping us with transport such as YandexGo and itinerary. The location is accessible to most tourist places. Would highly recommend.
Extremely old world, old fashioned and old looking hotel. Front desk is unfortunately very unhelpful and often not keen to help. Breakfast is very average and just the same in the mornings. Language is a big barrier with all the staff. Be careful about your water consumption there, they ration it in an almost communist way. Quite an avoidable hotel in Almaty.
I stayed with my family in the Corner Suite for 5 days and 4 nights (prepaid), and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The air conditioning did not work at all, and we had to keep the windows open just to get some fresh air. One of the bidets in the bathroom was also broken, and to make things worse, the bathroom was never cleaned throughout our stay. We reported these issues, but there was no serious response or effort to resolve them. The breakfast menu lacked any variety—it was the exact same thing every day. I would not recommend this hotel at all. If I hadn’t prepaid, I would’ve checked out and moved to another hotel after the first night.
