Regency on Beachwalk Waikiki by OUTRIGGER

We really enjoyed our stay at the Regency on Beachwalk. The staff was always attentive to anything we needed and greeted us with a friendly smile as we would come and go throughout the day. The fresh water on the main level was a great perk as I had read in previous reviews and the ABC store right out the doors was perfect. We had a two bedroom condo with a city view and really appreciated the large balcony for our family of 6. With adult children we knew that an additional bed would be needed so we pre planned purchasing a double air mattress at Walmart on the way from the airport the evening we arrived while grabbing some groceries as well. It fit perfectly in the bedroom at the end of the bed. We moved the kitchen table out to the balcony for the week which allowed for more space to move around and beautiful views while eating. The location is fantastic with it being just a short walk to the beach or to use the Outrigger Reef which we enjoyed daily. I would most definitely stay here again and as a Travel Agent I feel confident with sending my clients here if they are looking for condo style accommodations. If you’re looking for a hotel and more of an upscale experience I suggest there sister Outrigger Reef property.

The coffee pot leaked everywhere, the power went out for 15 hours so we didn’t have ac, hot water and the elevators didn’t work we were on the 7th floor and we had our grandma with us. Half of the outlets didn’t work and the front desk was rude when I said I wanted some money back bc I paid $350 for a cleaning fee plus the $300 every night for the room they only gave me $100 back when I said I wanted a refund. I understand it wasn’t their fault for the power but they were disrespectful about it and the lady at the desk had a lot of attitude when talking to me. I would NEVER stay there again not for that price. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Half the PowerPoints didn’t work. Paint peeling on walls. Floor uneven. Very noisy. Garbage trucks 2am every morning, very loud. Overpriced for what we got plus got charged exorbitant cleaning fees. On top of that a non refundable damage fee whether damage happened or not. Would NOT stay there again. The ONLY positive is its location to most things within walking distance.
