Good hotel a block away from Punta Carretas Shopping Center which is very convenient. There is a church at the corner of the street if you want to go to mass. We got the family room which eas simply GREAT. They are actually 2 separate rooms that then share a common outside door. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. Bed was comfortable.

★★★☆☆ May 2024

Regency Golf Urbano I stayed for three nights in May 2024 on the sixth floor. It was generally a positive experience and I would probably stay again but on a higher floor to get better views of the Plata.  The room I stayed at had lots of maintenance issues including big gaps in the laminated timber floor near the bathroom, a glass shower door that was hitting on its stone base and was unable to close fully, extremely fluctuating water temperature, a  loose catch on the double glazed windows meaning that you are unable to block out all of the street noise, filthy air conditioning filter with black mould on the outlet vent, which did not swing. The room did not have any door seals, no soft close mechanism on the door, a very loud door catch, no slippers provided, no robe provided, no clothesline in the bathroom and very limited space to hang any washed clothing, no stopper in the bathroom sink, generic liquid soap, no USB or international power outlets, no bottled or filtered water supplied, no dish cloth or dish liquid supplied for the kitchenette.  The tiny downstairs breakfast area got very crowded and people had to wait for a long time on two mornings to get a table. On the positive side, the king size bed was very comfortable and the room was mostly very quiet after about 10:00 p.m. the block out curtains worked very well.  WiFi in my room was good.
