A Fantastic Stay Near Registan Square We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful nice little hotel, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We arrived early and the staff was kind enough to let us check in - an excellent start to our stay. The hotel itself is very family-friendly and offers a warm welcoming atmosphere. The room was simple, clean and nice. The breakfast was simple and delicious. The location of hotel is ideal, just a short walk to the iconing Registan Square, and there are plenty of eateries around offering traditional local food. Unfortunately, we only stayed for 2 nights—3 nights would have been perfect to fully explore the historic sites of Samarkand. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area. If you're heading to Registan Square, this hotel is a perfect choice!
I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff is very helpful and polite, and most speak fluent English. The room was cleaned regularly. Breakfast had good options. As a solo female traveller I didn't feel unsafe or uncomfortable at all. Location is ideal and you can easily walk to Registan square (takes about 10 mins). There was hot water available along with other expected amenities. The price is pretty reasonable too. Room is well heated. I went during winter (February) and didn't feel cold indoors at all eventhough temperature was below 0° at times. What can be improved: Since it is a muslim majority country, a bidet spray should be installed in the washrooms. However, this is not just the case in this hotel but many hotels in the country.
The hotel is close to Registan Square but the location isn't very inspiring. We had a standard room booked by our travel agency but unfortunately these rooms a very cramped. The manager proposed another room but they are all the same. Luckily our agency accepted our complaints and we changed hotel the next day. Breakfast was good but the restaurant is located in the basement. Honestly, we don't understand the good reviews, strange...
