Great little hotel, clean rooms and good location. The view from the bar was amazing. Breakfast was okay.
I am not sure how this place got 4 stars. The view from upstairs is very nice and some floors were renovated but to very average level. Entrance is awful and constant problem with the lifts.
Officially a 3 star hotel. However they are still to learn hospitality. Day 1 AC not working. Outside temperature 30 degree. Informed to desk. No one came to help despite promises. Day 2 same issue. We escalated the matter. Finally we get a fan. Day 2 end we requested to change the room. Finally we got a better room. We thought things are turning for the better. Day 4 they come to us saying you have to vacate your room we are giving you other room as this room is allotted to someone else. After this I just lost faith with this place. As we were a group had to stay there despite such service. Breakfast : limited option and same things day in day out. No fresh items available. I'm definitely not returning to this place again. Only plus point is location. Near to Centre town. Though not as central as hotel Kazakhstan. The sky cafe has amazing views of Almaty which was a saving grace. Lastly but not the least it occupies top 7 floors of a 20 storey tower. With only one functional lift. So sometimes the wait especially with luggage can reach 20 mins. 😓
