Relais La Fontanina

We reserved the restaurant for a private function, fiftieth anniversary of friends of ours, service was very attentive only problem was too much fish and the veil was grisly.

The place is really run down and needs a renovation, at the moment it looks like 2 star hotel not 4 star place. Room itself was okay, bed was comfy and big, however bathtub was not very clean and we could not even use it as it seemed not to close (broken?). Hotel is in the middle of nowhere, when we arrived there, we were super hungry just to find out that restaurant is open just at the evenings, from 8pm. Receptionist was nice offering us toasts, but the price for 3 small, burnt toasts was 12eur... Such a shame for a 4 star place. The worst we found there was the breakfast, I do dare to say it was the worst breakfast in my life at any place I have stayed. There is just toasts, ham, toaster cheese, cookies and few cakes available. When the waiter brought us the tea we ordered, it was not hot, but barely warm. I didn't even touch it. All other guests also seemed not to like the breakfast and struggle to choose what to eat. Also the staff should be more polite, welcoming and warm. It seemed like they just do not care and just want to work their hours to receive their salary rather than thrive to provide an excellent service and experience.

Pessimo cibo. It's like chef was serving leftovers on new years eve dinner. For 70 euro there was nothing. Quantity was very poor. Baby menu was horrible. For 25 euro 2 slices of ham and 2 mozzarella. Old and tough cotoletta and 7 fries was not a menu for kids. Shame on u guys. Reputation doesn't count for you? Music was OK.
