Relais Monti

Relais Monti went above and beyond in accommodating us during an unexpected and stressful situation. Their response was kind, understanding, and truly human — something you don’t take for granted when traveling. We were deeply impressed by their flexibility and care, and it made us all the more excited to stay there. The location is perfect in charming Monti and the amenities were great. Highly recommended — not just for the location, but for the people behind it.

Amazing spot on a gorgeous little side street. Perfect walking distance to everything a tourist wants. Clean, nice staff, air conditioned rooms, small elevator. It was quiet, couldn’t hear others moving about the hotel. Super gorgeous! Would recommend highly.

To start, we thought that this was a 4 Star hotel based on its listing on Agoda, so our expectations were high. It is not - it is more like a 2 star. Rooms are sparse, there is no proper lobby, etc. However, the rooms are clean, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. Additionally, the hotel is very well located in the charming Monti district. If you are traveling solo or maybe as a couple and need a cheap, clean place to stay this mag be great. We had a few challenges during our stay. The walls are paper thin and the building echos every word and footstep, so it is quite loud. You could hear a conversation at normal level in the room next door crystal clearly. Additionally, the AC did not work well in one of our rooms so it was quite hot. Finally, the shower did not drain well, which was kind of gross. The upside was that there was very little shower pressure, so it didn't get too full during the course of one shower. All in all, it's a convenient, clean place to stay, and if you find a good deal it could be worth it.
