Relais San Maurizio

We arrived to this amazing property for 4 nights. Though they didn't commit to a specific room, they fulfilled my request for a room with a view and a balcony and I think we got the nicest room in the hotel... a stunning view of the valley covered with vines and a small beautiful balcony to sit in with a glass of wine (room 114). The place itself is quite big (used to be a monastery), a lot of beautiful spots, lounges, gardens. Also the decor in the public spaces is really divine and very tasteful, you see that someone thought carefully about every little detail, including fresh plants and flowers everywhere. The spa area is wonderful, very big, lots of facilities, we also enjoyed a treatment which was good. The fitness room is more than one would expect - fully equipped, including protein bars... there are 2 restaurants; one has a Michelin star and also a Bistro. We ate at both and they were very satisfactory. The place is very pampering, the guest really doesn't have to ask for anything, since they really thought about everything. The stuff is absolutely kind, polite, helpful and professional, also adding to the overall perfection. Very difficult leaving the place... hope we come again. Do take into consideration, if you're the type that doesn't like to eat in the same place everyday, that the closest restaurant is a few minutes by car (nothing is walking distance) via a dark curved path, not so pleasant. But hey, who wants to get out of here anyway?! Thank you for a great hospitality🙏🌺

To begin with, the service and staff are simply fantastic. They are extremely professional and go out of their way to make your holiday perfect. They take care of everything for you, ensuring you are completely carefree and relaxed. Everything we asked for was arranged down to the smallest detail. The food at the bistro and the restaurant was excellent every time, with our highest compliments to the service staff. The rooms were very well maintained and were tidied up two to three times a day. I had a chance to use their Spa, harmony day package which comes with a light lunch at Origini Bistrot. Origini bistro’s interior is so beautiful, very special. It’s even worthy to stay there only for it. The menu was simple and classic. The service was great. Inside the spa,the heated pool has just few hydromassage and it was a bit too simple for me. The sunlight coming from outside was great. Until the apertivo package guests came in, it was very quiet and super relaxing. The thalassotherapy cave was stunning, the greatest spa experience ever with the Dead Sea water and the wonderful view over the vineyard. Also the massage included into the package was very good. I would highly recommend. The only one negative thing was the changing room and shower is very very small and you can hardly find the place to out your stuff and take a seat while you dry your hair. After an amazing experience, having the stress to get dressed in a small place is not nice. Also personally I would have expected the higher quality hair dryer to be honest. I loved though overall experience. Would love to be back to stay overnight or their restaurant.
