Relais Sant'Uffizio

This place is simply magical! Best wedding location ever! Amazing service, super clean, great view, fantastic rooms, terrific gardens… we can warmly recommend this place!

My partner and I recently stayed at Relais Sant’Uffizio in the heart of Piedmont, and it was a truly peaceful and rejuvenating escape. Set in a beautifully restored 16th-century monastery, the hotel’s charm lies in its blend of historic elegance and modern comfort. The Aquanatura Spa was the highlight—immaculate and incredibly relaxing. The hydrotherapy pool, panoramic sauna, steam rooms, and ice cascade created a complete wellness experience. The time we spent there was restive and deeply restorative. Every detail, from the calming design to the herbal tea lounge, added to the sense of luxury. The hotel grounds were equally impressive. Surrounded by vineyards and manicured gardens, the outdoor pool area and bar was perfect for unwinding. I especially loved walking through the quiet paths in the early evening—truly serene. The restaurants, bars, and extensive wine list exceeded expectations and rounded out this magical visit. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway in the heart of the rolling hills and vineyards of Piemonte, this place is a gem. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to return.

Unfortunately we woke up to ants in our luggage and bed on the first morning; It wasn't a lot since we didn't have any food in there, but it was a pretty big drag nontheless. We had also heard from our relatives next door had a cockroach. When we went to the front desk we were told that housekeeping would be alerted. However, after housekeeping came by, I asked and she had never heard anything about it. That very night our room an an AC bust and leak all over the entryway, leaving us with no cooling for the night. We were told the next day that we could be downgraded to a different room 200m from our current one. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but we would have to leave our wedding party and pack everything to move it if we wanted help, keeping us from what we had travelled so far to attend. ONTOP of that, when we asked about just being given a discount or anything else instead of leaving the party so early, we were told that they'd have to ask a manager; Shortly after we were informed there was nothing they could give us. However, next morning we were immediately given a discount and late checkout. That said, I just can't recommend this place whatsoever.
