Remota is a tremendous place to lodge while visiting Patagonia/ Antartica. The staff are very kind and make you feel at home. They attend to all your needs with complete detail. The food is excellent and they have great wine selection. Kitchen staffs Catalina and Akim were very personable with meal requirements. Dante at the reception was very helpful with efforts to secure a lost hand baggage. The excursion packages through Remota offer a friendly and knowledgeable guides who also care about your safety. Remota Manager Ms. Carmen went out of the way and surprised us in preparing Indian dinner for our group which was uniformly declared delicious by the entire group . One of the dishes was prepared by Carmen's boy-friend Nicholas who we had a chance to meet as well. Over all on behalf of our Pittsburgh group of 11 we have no hesitation in giving Remota and its staff an A + rating for their dedication and services despite their busy season . I am sure future residents will receive the same hospitality .

Overall a good experience. We opted for the all inclusive package which i am not sure i would do again. Lunch/dinner menu remained same all 4 days we were there. Bath tub was very hard to get in and out of. Otherwise rooms were nice and spacious. Location was reasonable to get to national park and great proximity to airport. Had great experience with guides used by the resort.

The location and the views from this hotel are all great. The rooms are nice and clean as well. The restaurant staff and service is also wonderful. The reason for 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is really the front desk service. No one offered to help with luggage either checking in or checking out. Their front doors are heavy and with big luggages, coming through rain and that strong Patagonia wind from outside, you can clearly tell people struggle through those doors while the staff comfortably wait behind the desk and watch you struggle. Also the front desk staff is not very knowledgeable so asking them information about transfers and the town is not very helpful. Unfortunately front desk of a hotel is the first impression you get and last impression you leave with.
