Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center

Couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Easy access to the venue—just one elevator ride down and you’re there. The hotel was super clean and comfortable, with great food, drinks, and snacks available on-site. The hospitality was top-notch from start to finish. Walkable to everything at The Battery, which made it even more convenient. Honestly, nothing negative to say. These guys have it dialed in.

We were in town for a 3-day wrestling tournament at the Galleria Centre and needed a hotel close by. We originally booked a stay at (Another horrible hotel) the Embassy Suites, but after checking in, we realized it was a total disaster—strong mold smell, outdated rooms, and even after being moved to two different rooms, the conditions were the same. Thankfully, we were able to get a full refund and started scrambling to find another hotel for our 4-night stay. We were SO BLESSED to come across the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel—what a difference! From the moment we walked in, everything felt clean, fresh, and well-managed. The entire hotel smelled amazing, and even with heavy foot traffic from the convention and tournament, the public bathrooms stayed spotless. The attention to detail here is unmatched. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The staff was incredible—every time we called guest services or stopped by the front desk, they greeted us by name and were genuinely helpful and attentive. Huge shoutout to housekeeping as well; our room was immaculate every single day. You can tell management here knows exactly what they’re doing. And to top it all off, the location couldn’t have been more convenient—there’s a direct walk-through into the Galleria Centre, which made getting to and from the tournament super easy. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re staying in this area, don’t waste your time anywhere else—just book here. We booked a last-minute trip to Atlanta and got a great deal thanks to a first responder discount. We arrived late after 10 hours of travel, and Dior at check-in was incredibly kind and helpful. I asked for a favor, and without hesitation, she gave us a late checkout—something I really appreciated after a long day. The room was spacious and comfortable, which made the stay even better. The only downside was the bathroom—it could use a little attention in terms of quality or updates. Breakfast the next morning was a highlight. Yolanda, our hostess and waitress, was absolutely amazing. She was sweet, attentive, and just one of those people who makes your day better. She deserves major recognition. All in all, the staff made this trip. I'd definitely stay here again.
