Massive hotel up the hill. Can it go wrong?not really. So we got an interesting rate from our travel agent this holiday and decided we should try it. Staffs were amazing, attentive even for locals. The room however was a modern stylish kind of way,fit for a couple. Although we had the sofa bed setup from the hotel,it was not too sufficient for our 8yrs old ( please do note this and ask the hotel if you would like an extra bed ) The breakfast was..just...surprisingly good! There was seafood curry on our first day,we could taste the ingredients was super fresh. The clay experience also was a good experience for our daughter, she'll remember it all the way. The downside, we could see some developments across the hill, months or years from now probably there will be more workers, more villa on top of the hill and it won't be as serene as it was. Just...enjoy it while you can.
The location is a bit far from the unique and touristy area of Uluwatu, and the hotel itself is built in a slightly unusual way, it’s very large and quite difficult to get around without a buggy. Overall, the hotel is clean, the service is excellent, and while the food at the main dining area isn’t particularly tasty, the service truly makes up for it. At first, we were given a very small room despite requesting a larger one, but the staff immediately stepped in with a smile and great hospitality to find us the best possible room. The service here is truly wonderful.
Everything about this hotel is first-class. But what really makes it stand out is the people. I want to thank each and every one of them for being there for us, for being genuine. Now, it’s easy to like a place because of the nice rooms or the fancy facilities. What’s not so common is wanting to come back because of the folks who made your stay unforgettable.
