Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel

Stayed at the Renaissance Baton Rouge for work trip — solid upscale hotel with polished service and Southern charm. What stood out: – Rooms were spacious, modern, and clean — great bed, solid water pressure, and plenty of charging outlets. – Lobby and common areas were stylish and well-maintained, giving off that boutique-hotel feel without trying too hard. – Staff was professional and responsive — check-in was smooth, and everyone was friendly without being overbearing. - gym is well equipped - local seems to like to come to the restaurant here. What could be better: – The hallways and elevators felt a little dated compared to the rooms and lobby. – Pool area was underwhelming — functional but not a draw. – Restaurant/bar service was a bit slow during peak times. Bottom line: Reliable comfort with a touch of class. Ideal for business or leisure if you want a clean, quiet stay that still feels elevated. Would stay again.

Lovely Hotel right across from Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. The breakfast buffet was delicious (and very reasonable). They even had made to order omelets. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. A++

The hotel looks nice and the receptionist was very polite and welcoming, but unfortunately, our overall experience was very disappointing due to the complete lack of noise control between rooms. We couldn’t sleep at all because of the constant noise coming from the room next door, and it continued into the morning, making it impossible to get any rest, in addition the sheet had yellow spots, I hope from how old they are and not for not being clean. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, I would not recommend this hotel. It’s unfortunate because the property has potential, but without proper soundproofing, comfort is seriously compromised.
