Chillin’ in style at Renaissance Beijing Haidian — where modern vibes meet a touch of ancient cool. Loving the views and that sleek design. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a 24-hour fitness center, an indoor pool, and diverse dining options. Conveniently located near Metro Line 8, the hotel offers easy access to Beijing's major attractions, including the Olympic Forest Park.

Our family had an incredible stay at the Renaissance Hotel – truly a five-star experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is stunning, with luxurious amenities and rooms that exude a sophisticated urban vibe. The attention to detail in design and comfort was evident, making our stay feel both special and relaxing. The staff were outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From seamless door-to-door service to taking the time to organize and liaise with drivers on their own initiative, their dedication was remarkable. One memorable instance involved our daughter wanting to try the local McDonald’s. Not only did the staff arrange a cab for us, but they also contacted the McDonald’s to assist with our order and even offered to organize our return cab. This level of care and attention was unparalleled. While we had read about potential language barriers, we found several staff members proficient in English. However, for those with limited English, having a translator on hand could be helpful. Staying slightly outside the main city turned out to be a fantastic decision, as it allowed us to explore the northern part of Beijing more thoroughly. The staff were instrumental in arranging a personal driver for our trip to the Great Wall, securing our tickets, and saving us $400 compared to what we were quoted on Klook for the same service. Their efficiency and honesty were truly appreciated. The buffet breakfast was exquisite – fresh, restaurant-quality dishes that exceeded all expectations. Be sure to book a stay that includes breakfast because it is absolutely worth it! We loved every moment of our stay at the Renaissance Hotel and were genuinely sad to leave. We’re already looking forward to our next trip to Beijing, and when we return, the Renaissance Hotel will undoubtedly be our choice again.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worthy of a Five-Star Rating. The hotel is new, and the room appeared clean at first glance, but there was an unpleasant odor when we entered. Upon check-in, the front desk staff attempted to use a personal device to record our ID, which we fortunately stopped. We were then informed that the elevator was under maintenance, and the power in our room would be going out intermittently. Additionally, the exterior facade was also being worked on, and we were advised to keep the curtains closed if we stayed in the room—hardly the experience one would expect from a five-star property. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
