Traveled with my sister for four days and enjoyed every single thing about this hotel! Great location (so many things surrounding the hotel), attentive and helpful staff, and the room was spacious, comfortable, with very beautiful decor. We had a Mountain View which was SO beautiful at sunrise and sunset. You get a complimentary drink at check in. Will definitely stay again my next time in Denver. 10/10 recommend.
This hotel charges a very precious $32 a night to park, but this guest had to go to 4 different floors to find a functioning ice machine. The cost of the room, cheap, is a reflection of the overall experience. It is very clean. It is worn and shabby - my duvet is disintegrating at the end - guess they think folks don’t pull them out from under the mattress. The shower is super wasteful, as to turn it on, you first turn on the hand held, which continues to spew out unused water. Ah. I see it now. No ice machines so the water use goes down? Also, there are no vending machines. The outrageously priced parking garage is surrounded by unhoused people, which makes paying $32 feel even more like a ripoff, given how that raises the likelihood of theft. Great. And the street noise from Quebec? Nothing but windows between you and this busy street. Average hotel, appropriately priced at the $98 they are asking today. If there is no ice later, where I finally found it this afternoon, I’m taking my ice bucket to the front desk and telling them that they will be bringing me ice immediately. Finally, I put about $40 worth of food in the fridge overnight - frozen solid this morning. Lousy lousy lousy! Dropping you to 1 star.
Pros: Rooms are large, bed is comfortable, and fairly clean and newish. Rooms have balconies and decent views. Cons: in a really sketchy area with local unhoused getting into hotel amenities. Someone from the neighborhood made themselves at home at the pool during my stay. Parking is $32 paid to a third party. Front desk gave me incorrect information about breakfast. Welcome gift as a platinum was not given, front desk had a sour mood when brought up at checkout. Train horns are pretty loud throughout the night The hotel is nice but hospitality could use serious improvement and the area is less than desirable.
