Great hotel! This hotel appealed to me for a family vacation with a six year old because it’s close to the fun of Broadway and had an indoor pool. I was not expecting how great it would truly be. First of all, it’s CONNECTED to the Assembly Food Hall and Fifth & Broadway shopping. A short walk through the lobby and conference center area and a back door drops you at the entrance of the food hall. Amazing. Safe, secure, clean, quick, and easy. Secondly, the pool is perfect, truly. It is an indoor pool but it has a large outside patio area and the August weather was pleasant enough to have the large doors open. Felt like an outdoor pool but no threat of rain or too much UV. Last items: super clean, super QUIET (in Nashville, a block from Broadway!), super friendly staff. Valet is $70+tax so be prepared to incorporate that expense. Well worth it x1000! Beautiful hotel.
Great location, love it. The room was nice except for the toilet seat that wasn't secured... That was odd. The staff is generally excellent with the exception of one front desk person who refused to give my wife the "free" tickets for anything but was more than happy to give them to me 30 minutes later (happened twice). Read the fine print, you pay $30/day extra in a destination fee.... Not really necessary in my opinion but, whatever. There can be crowds and conferences here too which takes away from the experience for all of the other guests but, this is expected.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it was incredibly disappointing. First and foremost, my family reserved our stay specifically for the pool and hot tub, only to find out they were closed without any prior notice. This lack of communication led to profound disappointment for my children, who were looking forward to enjoying those amenities. To make matters worse, my room (1332) had a persistent smell of urine that was absolutely disgusting. It was particularly strong between the bed and the nightstand, which is not something anyone wants to encounter during their stay. Also, there were 2 half drunken water bottles under the bed when we arrive, which tells me that house cleaning did not do their due diligence before we checked in to the room. Cleanliness is paramount in hospitality, and this was simply unacceptable. While the valet parking service was decent, it hardly made up for the numerous other issues I encountered. After checking out, I’ve continued to receive text messages claiming that I owe money to a garage company, even though I paid for valet parking. I understand there was a fire at the hotel’s garage, forcing them to use another facility, but it’s infuriating to still get these notifications long after I’ve left the premises. Overall, I would strongly discourage anyone from staying at this hotel, especially in room 1332. There are far too many better options out there for the price that they are charging that prioritize guest satisfaction and cleanliness. Save yourself the headache!
