Renaissance Palace Baku

Great stay overall at Hyatt Regency Baku. The staff were friendly and professional, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent throughout my visit. The only major downside was the WiFi — even the paid premium option was extremely slow and unreliable, which was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. Other than that, a solid and enjoyable experience.

I had high expectations for a five-star experience, but unfortunately, Hyatt Regency Baku fell short in several key areas. • Room Comfort: On our first night, the air conditioning was extremely poor. Despite multiple complaints, staff insisted it was working properly. My young daughter couldn’t sleep due to the heat, and we were only moved to another room after midnight — far too late for a family with children. • Air Quality: The room had a strong musty smell and poor ventilation, which made the stay uncomfortable. • Staff Behavior: We encountered discriminatory behavior from staff at the indoor swimming pool, which was deeply disappointing and made us feel unwelcome. Overall, the service and facilities did not reflect the standards of a five-star hotel.

Hotel is not 5 star at all. Maximum deserved 3 stars. Hotel and rooms are outdated and must be renovated. Food is average, crowded breakfast and not enough sitting places. Construction noise coming all day from the building beyond. Hotel staff is not courteous. Hotel is far away from city center and even not offer shuttle service. Worst experience.
