Love this hotel! Love the art and the kitties that protect the gardens! 😁 The service is excellent,.the gym is great,.the breakfast is very good and tasty . The pool is also great. It is nice to walk around the gardens 😊

I’m very impressed with how courteous and respectful the staff is. Everyone here seems to genuinely care for the guests. There is room for some improvement. The room we got was supposed to be 1 queen or king and we ended up getting a 2 full size bedroom. The shower does kinda drip out on floor a bit. All in all it’s been a good stay so far.

We had mixed experiences here. In 2023, when we arrived, the man at the front desk immediately upgraded me without asking because I have Marriott Gold Elite status. We were given an Executive Suite on a high floor at no charge, and he thanks me for my loyalty. This time, in May 2025, was a different story. The front desk thanked me for my loyalty and have me my key. I asked if there were any upgrades available since I am still Gold Elite, and he said no. He said, "We have a group coming in tomorrow, and because you check out tomorrow, we need those rooms ready for them." What kind of service is that?! I checked the website for availability, and they had several available rooms for that one night that he could have upgraded me to. So I chatted with customer service in the Marriott app, and they told me that they had no availability, but they would happily upgrade me next time if they could. Apparently, the hotel decides if they want to make rooms available for upgrade, and, if they don't want to, they simply tell Elite members that there is no availability and let those rooms sit empty overnight. I attached the conversation screenshots here so that you can see them. The room was okay, but nothing special. Just a normal room with a king bed and one small carton of water. The hallways are carpeted, making it really hard to pull your roller bags through them. The carpet also needs to be stretched because it is really wrinkled. The view in one side of the hotel is just the roof of the casino. The other side is the pool area, so that's nice. The 24-hour gym is nice. Breakfast is really good, but not for the price they charge. We had it in 2023 but didn't pay for it in 2025. The pool is really nice for wading and relaxing, but not deep enough for swimming. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but we wouldn't recommend it if you're a Marriott Elite and go l hope to get upgraded. Spend the same amount of money for an independent hotel or a nice Airbnb instead of taking a chance with the selective customer service here. I'm guessing they just cater more to businesses and groups that come to use their conference facilities and care less about the individuals. Oh yeah, at the end of my conversation with them in the app, they had the audacity to say, "We are at your service." Ha!
