Renaissance Sanya Haitang Bay Resort

This is an excellent resort. The room was large and comfortable, the furniture was a little 'tired', but it had a great bathroom. The beach was one of the best we saw in Marriott resorts and the pool was really nice. Breakfast had an excellent spread, with lots of choice. This was the best value for money Marriott resort we stayed in in Sanya.

I have been impressed at how luxurious this hotel seemed. It so beautiful and magic. I highly recommend !! The breakfast was to die for !! Everything in there was delicious. I went there with my family and we had a blast. The pool is huge, there is so much to enjoy in this hotel. I would love going back there honestly. Don't hesitate ! ✨

Really disappointing to see a nice hotel being run by such terrible staff. From check in to check out and every instance in the middle, I was constantly surprised at the lack of hospitality all staff offered. Even basic politeness to guests wasn't there at all. It was also probably good to note that absolutely everyone was in their early late teens / early 20s. That just shows a huge lack of training and a complete disregard to being guest focussed. I constantly travel in China and speak Chinese so there is no language barrier but this goes down as the worst customer service of any Marriott I've ever been in. Whoever is running that place needs to bring in an adult and start some proper guest focussed training ...
