Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel

The hotel is in a great location, a short 10 minute walk from the Huntington Center and otherwise conveniently located downtown. DO NOT take the valet. Just go to the Vistula Garage across the street, you can see it by the red arch. It's $8 to park overnight. The staff seemed a little disinterested and did not bother to tell me about the 100 dollar incidental charge on the hotel room. It's common, I know, but you should still acknowledge it before you charge my card. Maybe they were just busy, since a lot of people were coming in for a concert, but even so. The rooms were clean with lots of fun decorations. Side table was a little awkward, since there is only one bed-side table for both beds, and the charging ports stick out against the bed. Long cables may run into issues here. Overall, it was a nice spot and I would stay here again if needed.

The location was great! The room showed door was broken and slide to close and leaked water from the sides. The bed was great and comfortable! The valet and front desk service was impeccable! Overall great experience except for the stand up shower door! Paid $225 for the room!

This hotel was disappointing. It is way overdue for an update. We cancelled our second night I found a different hotel. The restaurant and bar is really good, that's the only redeeming quality. It's not bad to be fair. But this is a Renaissance Marriott. It does not measure up to a Renaissance Marriott at all!!!!!! The pics on the Marriott website were done by a photographer that knows how to make things look way better than they are.
